The Lord & Lady Macbeth

Rendering for my surrealist art-horror version of Macbeth as part of my undergrad thesis.
Set shortly after their ascension to the throne and the decay of their choices starts to become visible; the crown of finger bones, My grizzled sailors! Unreasonably proud of these gritty lads that I designed as extras for a theoretical music video set on the seas. They’re a little looser and simpler than my usual style but I’m absolutely thrilled with how all the tex Barton Keyes (Double Indemnity)

Especially pleased with these renders from my theoretical design of “Double Indemnity”. His burgundy suit (which tragically doesn’t display well on phones) was a breakaway from the tight color palett I love some shoulder caps! Got around to making a prototype for a new vest design so here are some more detail-oriented shots while I work on getting some good full photos of it.

A fun little bonus project from my pattern making class! I didn’t build the full dress, just made the pattern hence why there is only half of a dress and I didn’t fill the skirt in—in the Another bug! This time a moth with more embroidery than usual

A couple months ago I made a return to creating beaded insects with this little guy. Each piece of him was hand beaded separately within a wire frame and then assembled together to make his final form which is about 1.5” in Snake shoulders! (Snoulders, if you will)

Throwback to my second leather project ever; hand stamped, carved, and laced (most of lacing being during my lecture classes freshman year)

The base block for these was based on Morraine Sedai’s bole WIP on a draped bodice - also first venture in really paying attention to pattern matching!

These are the cut pieces pinned to the dress form so that I can ensure the motif remains intact as much as possible. Next is lots of hand basting
